Peteris Architects, Inc. was established in 1996 and has served the Southern California community for over 24 years. We are a full-service firm specializing in Commercial Buildings, Banks, Telecommunication Facilities, Tenant Improvements and all forms of Residential Design & Renovation.
Our work with corporate clients includes Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, Verizon, Frontier Communications, AT&T, Southern California Edison, Disney, MTA and numerous commercial management firms such as Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE.

Our Process
The firm’s stress on research, imagination and design combines the most advanced construction techniques and materials resulting in buildings that are aesthetically pleasing, functionally efficient and in compliance with all regulatory codes.
Detailed plans clarify design intent which is essential for competitive bidding among contractors. All effort is extended to provide the most for your building dollar as well as a sound and lasting investment.
We recommend time-tested contractors for your bid list to insure comparable services and fees. We joint venture with select General Contractors for those requiring a “design/build” approach.
Gidas Peteris, A.I.A.
Gidas Peteris began his career as a second-generation architect and is the founder of Peteris Architects.
Gidas is of Lithuanian decent and was born and raised in Los Angeles. He began his formal education at Loyola High School and finished at the University of Oregon where he received his Bachelor or Architecture.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Beverly Hills Rotary Club, the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Beverly Hills Breakfast Club chapter of BNI. Gidas takes great pride in the scope and quality of service offered by this firm and hopes that our vast experience provides the qualifications necessary to solve the varied and complex aspects of your architectural needs.
In addition to designing homes and offices, my wife and I have an online store, Ritzy Pickers, specializing in vintage glass & fine collectables. Our carefully selected inventory lends itself to varied styles and is constantly changing, so visit often and follow us to see what’s new!
We work with architects and interior designers across the country and are happy to entertain requests for that illusive vintage piece. Ritzy Pickers is also an amazing gift resource, for that special occasion or to find the perfect item that provides the finishing touch for your home or office.
